Friday 24th October is an inset day for all children in school. It is also an open morning for children starting Reception in September 2026. Booking not required but you may wish to register your interest by contacting the school office.

Your child's journey with us begins in EYFS.  We know this can be both an exciting and sometimes unsettling time for parents, who are introduced to a wide variety of new language and concepts.  The information below is intended to help steer you through those initial tricky times and, as ever, we are on hand to help out with anything that is unclear.

Key Stage 1 and 2
As your child moves up through school, they will enter Years 1 and 2 (known as Key Stage 1) and then Years 3 to 6 (known as Key Stage 2). Here, they will be taught according to the National Curriculum. Below you can find what this means in a parent-friendly guide.
