Etwall PTFA - Charity Number 1083273
Our Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered charity that works hard to raise money to benefit the children of our school. Our objective is to further the education of the pupils in the school through the purchase of resources and to provide enrichment opportunities that the school could otherwise not afford.

Although we are best known for our fundraising work, we have a useful social function too. Our fundraising events provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together. We also organise events with the local Cricket Club for the wider community, including the village fireworks display and music festival.

The PTFA is run by a friendly group of parent volunteers who are part of a committee - usually consisting of a chair, a vice-chair, a treasurer, a secretary and ordinary committee members. We meet every half term to arrange future events and allocate funds. Smaller working groups are sometimes also set up to organise individual events. Such as Discos, Secret Santa, Summer Fair, Recycling Days and Film Nights.

All parents/carers and staff are automatically members of Etwall Primary School PTFA. We welcome everyone to be involved. You can support the PTFA in many ways, whether you come to meetings, volunteer to help run an event, bake cakes or even just by simply coming along to join in the fun. Together we can make a positive difference to the children’s experience of school.
